PASSPORT


The Kenyan passport is a Government document issuable to Kenyan citizens only. Subject to Immigration Circular ref. No. 351221269 as of December 21st, 2006: From 1st January, 2007, All new Kenyan passports issued will be valid for 10 years. Replacement of Passport after (Expired / Filled up)

  1. Three copies of duly completed Passport application form Form 21A (link to the form)
  2. Expired or filled up Passport being replaced and its copy
  3. Four coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant with a white back ground(Size 2.5 inches ×2.0 inches)
  4. Copy of Birth Certificate
  5. Marriage certificate for married women
  6. Cash payment of Tsh 87,000

Replacement of Lost Passport

  1. Original Birth Certificate and copy
  2. Two Copies of Duly completed Passport application Form 21A
  3. Four coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant
  4. An affidavit detailing the circumstances under which the loss occurred
  5. Police abstract
  6. Cash payment of Tsh 230,000

Replacement of Mutilated Passport

  1. Two copies of duly completed Passport application Form 21A
  2. Copy of Birth Certificate
  3. Mutilated Passport to be replaced and two copies of the passport
  4. An affidavit detailing the circumstances under which the mutilation occurred
  5. Four coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant
  6. Cash payment of Tsh 192,000

Emergency Travel Document

  1. Application letter
  2. Two passport photos
  3. Police report
  4. Copy of National Identity card
  5. Cash payment of Tsh 32000
