I welcome you to the Kenya High Commission updated Website which is expected to serve as a communication tool between the High Commission and her clients.  It is geared towards leveraging the High Commission to secure Kenya’s national interests in the United Republic of Tanzania.  The focus of the website is to promote economic and commercial diplomacy while engaging the Diaspora productively.

Through the website we intend to keep our clients informed on what the High Commission does including developments in the social, political and economic arena of interest.  A key feature of the new website is the online registration link for Kenyan nationals residing in Tanzania.  I call upon Kenyans in all parts of Tanzania to register online.

Kenya and Tanzania enjoy excellent relations that are borne by the social/cultural and economic heritage across the shared borders and enhanced by the rich commercial relations and shared partnerships within the EAC.

Trade and Investment between the two countries has grown tremendously since the coming into force of the EAC Common Market Protocol.  Tanzania has since 2014, become Kenya’s largest trading partner in the region.  Similarly, Kenya is now one of the leading export destinations for Tanzania’s goods.

We at the High Commission endeavour to deepen interactions amongst the nationals of our two sister countries by encouraging structured exchange programs in several national development sectors including, education, health, agriculture, tourism and ICT.

We invite you to give us feedback on the information provided in the website and to make suggestions on improvements, if any.

God Bless Kenya, God Bless Tanzania
